Scott Tournet

Lead Guitar - Grace Potter and the Nocturnals/Blues and Lasers

Scott's Rig: Black Delta 90 w/Bigsby, Caddy Red Flatline Biscayne w/Lollar Imperial humbuckers

About Blues and Lasers: Enter Blues and Lasers...electric sonic brainchild of Scott Tournet, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter, impassioned by big beat, guitar-heavy, swampy, reverbadelic walls of sound that focus on present time chaos. On break from touring with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Tournet pulled together four players who not only assist in completing this vision, but morph it into a larger, if not more poignant entity. Mastering the elusive low end pulse is John Rogone (aka, Johnny Solid), a finger bass guitarist, backing vocalist and java hustler. Driving and grounding the rhythm section are drummers Steve Sharon, (aka, VC Steve) & fellow Grace Potter and the Nocturnals mustached drummer, Matt Burr (aka, Croache). Contributing songs, vocals, and guitar is Ben Yurco, a sorcerer of electric tree and dimed out fender amplifiers. Together, these five players create a thick rogue wave of sound that can knock you on your ass...or carry you away on an unwavering unicorn of majestic light.

Phils thoughts on his Vistaglide custom: "The tone is outrageous," he said. "I am amazed at the guitar's voice, articulation and amazing sustain. I like how itsweeps between the pickups with the blend knob." He went on to say,"I ?nd it to be a distinctive soundingguitar. I like the feel of the neck andthe woodwork of the neck. It'scomfortable on the hands. It remindsme of an old rockabilly guitar."

Rick's note: "The video to the right of Phil playing his Delta 90 is so insane it made me want to quit playing guitar....he is amazing and it is a true honor to have him enjoy our guitars!"

Beau Tackett

Lead Guitar - Blake Shelton

www.facebook.com/people/Beau-Tackett/1429808894

Artist's Rig: Flatline Delta T custom w/Lollar humbucker/middle strat/tele bridge pups and a coil split.

About the Artist:

Thoughts on Flatline: After I got my Flatline, it quickly became my #1 "go to" guitar. It sounds great and plays like a dream. My custom Delta is so versatile that I can play one guitar for the majority of Blake's show, thereby saving myself at least 3 or 4 guitar changes a night. Tele, strat, Les Paul... I can get them all from this axe. This is definitely a "desert island" guitar for me. Oh and did I mention it sounds fabulous and plays wonderfully? Rick really knocks it out of the park with every guitar he makes. Keep up the good work!!

Steve Amaral

Guitar Player - The Nickel Slots

Steve's Rig: Blonde Flatline Delta T and Ocean Green Metallic Flatline Vistaglide Standard

About the Artist: Live, Steve is using a Fender Hot Rod Deville that has been modified by Ben Fargen with his "Hot Mods." Click here to find out what his "Hot Mod" includes.

He runs the guitars into a Boss TU-2 then into a TS-10 (Taiwan) then into a second TS-10 (Japan), then into a Fulltone Supa-Trem ( he bypasses the trem effect but leaves the pedal engaged as it seems to add this sweet, thick tone that is hard to explain, but he loves how it sounds and how it feels!) and finally into an MXR Micro Amp for a lead boost. Steve is a big fan of running the two TS-10s together during some of his solos where he wants to be able to musically control feedback and sustain.

About the Band: Listening to The Nickel Slots is like sitting around the campfire on a warm summer night. From the sentimental folk story to the foot-stomping, raucous sing-along, their alt-country rock songs make you nod in recollection of a long-lost memory or shared experience of pain, joy, heartache, love, hope, and redemption.

Thoughts on Flatline: "From the moment I picked up the Flatline Vistaglide, it felt like it belonged in my hands. The neck was instantly comfortable, not to mention the balanced weight of the body, the quality of the finish and the great tone that came screaming out of my amp."

"With Flatline Guitars you get it all: quality tone and quality craftsmanship, all with a familiar look and feel that connects the dots between the timeless designs of the past and the modern demands of today's players."

Tim's Rig: Ivory Flatline Vistaglide Custom and Red Flatline Delta 90 Standard

About the Band: Remember how you felt when you heard the Beatles' The White Album or Abbey Road for the first time? Soundtrack to your life stuff, right? Remember how you cried yourself to sleep knowing that John, Paul, George, and Ringo would never perform those albums live?

Creme Tangerine recreates Beatles classics along with later Beatles albums in their entirety. The band's magical, musical tour is walk on the wild side of some of the Fab Four's most rockin' and popular tunes.

Brandon Carswell and Shaun Carswell

Guitar Players - Carswell

Brandon's Rig: Biscayne into a Fender Blues Jr. (live)

Shaun's Rig: Vistaglide Custom into a Fender Blues Jr. (live)

About the Duo: Carswell is a brother duo from Nashville with songs and harmonies as catchy and tight as those of The Everly Brothers. After one listen to these guys you'll be humming their tunes all day.

Thoughts on Flatline: Brandon says, "The second we played Flatline's Vistaglide Custom & the Delta 90 for the first time we knew these were master built guitars. They feel like they were built just for your hands."

Shaun: "They feel as good as they sound! The tones these guitars produce are without question very impressive. Weather it's that screaming rock n roll tone from the Vistaglide custom or the warm, full body tones of the Delta 90, we find exactly what we want in these guitars!"

Justin Hayes

Guitar Player - Mother Culture

Justin's Rig: Green Flatline Delta 90 with Bigsby; Mesa studio 22, stock Ibanez TS9, big muff knockoff, danelectro tremolo, digitech digital delay, and a boss tuner. Currently working on rewiring the channel switcher for the Mesa into a boost pedal.

About the Band: Can you have the sweet without the sour? The members of Kansas City rock quintet, Mother Culture, don't think so. For these 5 self-proclaimed vagabonds, life is about acknowledging mistakes and rising above them. This theme of redemption resonates throughout the songs on their latest EP release entitled Sold Your Voice.

Mother Culture's sound ranges from pulse-pounding rock to protest folk, as if Joe Strummer and Joni Mitchell made a record amidst a dystopian dream only to awaken in a David Bowie dance number. Buzzsaw guitars, soaring synth lines, and frantically driving rhythms quickly recede into a sea of vocal swells calling for peace and social justice.

They're calling out; are you listening?

Thoughts on Flatline: "The Delta 90 is a rock and roller's dream! It has a neck like butter and pickups that go from crystalline transparency to biting gain. This is the most versatile guitar I've ever played. The Delta is sturdy, beautiful, and classic. I can't imagine playing a show without it. This is my go-to guitar, and I don't see that ever changing."
